I Expect You To Die is an over-the-top virtual reality spy adventure that allows players to experience what it’s like to be James Bond on a daring assignment.

The game begins as the player has infiltrated their sworn enemy’s private plane and has been tasked with a mission to steal a weaponized car for the agency to study. Finding the key is the first step on this mission, and once found things start to get tricky. Once the car is started, a sequence of defense mechanisms are deployed by the cars onboard computer ranging from bombs, to poisonous gas, to lazerbeams.

Exploring the vehicle is integral to avoiding death from each trap as their are numerous sets of instructions hidden around the car that detail how to perform some of the tasks required to steal the car. Players will also be able to find useful tools which will also aid in escape by exploring all nooks and crannies in the vehicle.

This game is great fun to experience and challenging when you first get started, I was certainly surprised to have my head melted by a laserbeam pretty early on. But once players get the hang of the controls and the tasks required to foil each trap, they’ll have great fun trying to get themselves out of this sticky situation.

The immersiveness of the game is aided by the quality of the graphics, while the humour in the dialogue and the life-threatening situations involved also make this a really fun virtual reality experience and one that can be enjoyed by players of any skill level. I would strongly encourage anyone with a DK2 to give this game a go.
