AllisonRoad_postThe kickstarter campaign for survival horror game Allison road has been cancelled after the game was picked up by publisher Team 17.

Allison Road developers Lilith Games announced the partnership through a Kickstarter update.

“We are delighted to announce that we will be joining Team17’s highly successful games label.” said the newly formed indie developer.

“Working with Team17 will give us the chance to make our game unhindered creatively, but at the same time will give us the resources, support and experience that only a 25 year old studio can give.”

Team 17 are best known as the studio behind the successful Worms game series. They’ve also released titles such as The Escapists: The Walking Dead, Beyond Eyes, and Sheltered.

Allison Road is slated to feature virtual reality support through Oculus Support as we discovered back in July and has been one of the more talked about VR games in development due to its eerie backdrop.
