With all the talk the past couple of weeks about Oculus’s DK2 release and Sony’s Project Morpheus its easy to miss some of the other Head Mounted Displays on offer.

The GameFace Android VR Headset is still very much an early prototype but could be the next best thing to happen to mobile gaming.

In case you aren’t familiar, GameFace Labs is a UK startup developing a supercharged Android VR system (wireless of course) with an immersive FoV of around 100 degrees and surprisingly low latency head tracking. Contained within it is an optimized SoC specifically designed for the next generation of mobile VR content.
