Combat Air Patrol 2: Virtual Reality Flight Simulator Kickstarter Campaign

Posted August 4, 2015 by Jamie O'Dwyer in News

Combat Air Patrol 2 is a flight and naval combat simulator from developers Sim155 Ltd.

The game will allow players to take command of the AV-8B Harrier II, become an elite pilot and fight to protect the Strait of Hormuz from a new enemy threat.

The funds from the Kickstarter campaign will go towards developing and improving support for virtual reality through the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The money will also go towards developing multiplayer modes, satellite imagery to enhance the experience and towards the professional voice recordings.

The game was greenlit on Steam in December of last year and the developers hope a successful crowdfunding campaign can deliver all the features they’ve aspired to.
