Dimensional – a VR-only experience

Posted March 17, 2016 by Conor Burke in News

Dimensional is a Kickstarter funded and greenlit to launch on Steam game for Oculus and the Vive by Developer Brett Jackson. Dimensional allows you to move around the game using physical actions and teleporting to navigate your surroundings helping to create a nausea-free experience. The player is encouraged to use real life movements to complete challenges set throughout the game.  There is an option to also use standard FPS-style controls for anyone who doesn’t suffer from nausea of moving inside VR.

The game is set on Earth and you as a human with the help of an alien droid Digby, must enter alien chambers built to protect the offspring of a trans-dimensional race being hunted to extinction.  Only together with your droid can you make your way past the puzzles and challenges that each chamber presents.
