eVRyday – Museum of the Microstar Virtual Reality Museum

Posted June 8, 2014 by Sandra Whelan in VR Shows

The Museum of the Microstar is a futuristic Virtual Reality tour of energy sources throughout the ages with gorgeous graphics.

First constructed as a tech demo for DirectX 11 effects like tessellation shaders, GPU particles, and physically-based shading, and ported to the Rift in early 2013. Get it here:

60 FPS version of this video: http://evrydayvr.srv.sn/Oculus_Rift_-…

Resolution note: The video is recorded at 2560×1440, but in the Rift Development Kit 1 (DK1) I see it at only 1280×800.
