Kelloggs Nutri-Grain Cereal Boxes To Contain Virtual Reality Headsets In New Zealand

NutriGrainPostKelloggs have announced plans to ship their own virtual reality headsets through cereal in New Zealand.

Gone are the days when kids used to get excited about the prospect of a whistle or other fancy nick-knacks at the bottom of a cereal box. But now you can get something much cooler.

Special packs of Nutri-Grain cereal will contain a Nutri-Grain Bolt headset, a VR headset made in a similar mold to the Google Cardboard. This offer is only available in New Zealand as things currently stand, however.

The physical headset is to be assembled from the outer box while consumers can dig through the cereal to find the lenses required to complete assembly.

The Bolt headset, or a Google Cardboard if you prefer, will allow users to access the NG Bolt app through the Play Store or the App Store. The app offers access to a range of virtual reality videos and content. To access all content, users will be required to scan the QR code on promotional packs of Nutri-Grain cereal.

You can find more information on the Nutri-Grain Bolt Headset through the Kelloggs website or on the Nutri-Grain facebook page.
