Klepto – Burglary Simulator Early Prototype Footage

Posted June 22, 2015 by Jamie O'Dwyer in Features

Klepto is a Burglary Simulator developed by Meerkat Gaming which they announced through the Oculus forums.

The game allows users to sneak into houses and search the premises for valuable items. The game also features a detection system based on user decisions. The flashlight can be used at any time but its use can cause occupants to detect the burglar easier. A progression feature is also used to allow players to unlock new disguises, tool and features as they play through the game.

Klepto is being developed with full VR support through both the Oculus CV1 and the HTC Vive. The game can also be played without a VR headset in 1st or 3rd person. The game will also feature multiplayer elements including a co-op mode and also what they’ve called a ‘Cops and Robbers’ mode.
