Stella Artois Unveil Wimbledon Virtual Reality Experience ‘The Perfect Flight’

Stella Artois have unveiled a virtual reality experience at this year’s Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.

The experience, named ‘The Perfect Flight’, allows users to fly above the courts and see the courts from the point of view of Rufus, the resident hawk at Wimbledon. It has been described as a multi-sensory experience that fans could experience if they came across the Stella Artois stand at Wimbledon. Users were able to lay on their stomachs on a table with a VR headset on while fans placed in front of them provided the wind one would feel flying through the air.

‘The Perfect Flight’ was a collaborative effort from Unit9, Mother London and Momentum Worldwide.

The experience has been developed for the Google Cardboard VR headset for those unable to attend Wimbeldon.

The app is available to download from Google Play and through the App Store. The web version is also available here.
