The New York Times Are To Release Their Own Virtual Reality App

NYTVRWorld renounced publication The New York Times are to release their own virtual reality app.

The app, named NYT VR, will allow users to view VR content from the publication, allowing them to experience news in new immersive ways.

The first story available from the app will be focusing on children uprooted by war in the midst of the global refugee crisis.

As part of their push into virtual reality, The New York Times newspaper will come with Google Cardboard VR viewers on the 7th and 8th November.

The NYT VR application will be released on Android and iOS on November 5th.
